COSCON a Convention in Pittsburgh Empty
PostSubject: COSCON a Convention in Pittsburgh   COSCON a Convention in Pittsburgh Icon_minitimeTue Jan 31, 2012 2:31 pm

So in March there is a convention in Butler (near pittsburgh) PA.

This is a full gaming convention, with RPGA, vendor room, and multiple larps.

Rage Across Three Rivers will be running an event at COSCON.

The convention runs March 23rd-25th.
On Saturday the 24th Rage Across Three Rivers runs from noon-whenever. We will be stopping plot by 6-7ish, but will be open to running roleplay/meetings/personal scenes for the rest of the evening.

On Sunday the 25th we run from noon till 6. We have to end around that time cuz the hotel will want to start kicking us out:P

So here is the site that you can pre-register for the convention. The site also has the location for the event.

So come one, come all and play in our event!
It's a good time, and the convention is a blast too!

So all the registration for the event is setup through http://warhorn.net/coscon24/

Rage Across Three Rivers is listed as a Friday event, but that's just how they list the larps.

In fact, it will be played Saturday, Noon-We decide to stop, and Sunday, Noon-7pm.

If you are planning on going, please preregister for the event and the Werewolf larp on the above site.

The cost for the Convention itself is here http://www.circleofswords.com/main/cons/coscon.php
but for simplicity, it's $28 dollars for the weekend, if you register 2 weeks prior, and $35 dollars for the weekend after that.
The Werewolf Larp itself, has no admittance fee, so it's just the registration fee for COSCON.

It's not a huge convention, but it does have a dealer room, alot of TT gaming, a Vampire Larp that plays later in each day, and alot of partying and free booze all over the place.

Hopefully we'll see plenty of people there!
